Konnichiwa! Watashi wa SoraKun desu.

Windows Linux Infrastructure Open Source

Konnichiwa, I am Rajat Raj, better known online as SoraKun. I'm from India and have a passion for DevOps, operating systems, AI, and open source software. My journey into technology began at the age of nine with HTML, Android modding during the Gingerbread era, configuring routers, and an endless curiosity about how computers work.

That curiosity eventually led me to build custom ROMs and Android kernels, explore networking, cybersecurity through penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and responsibly disclosing a security vulnerability that earned me a certificate of appreciation from Intel. I also dove deep into multimedia technologies (FLAC, AAC, Opus, MPC-HC, K-Lite Codec Pack, madVR), Linux, a heavily optimized Windows environment, and low-level computing. More recently, I've developed a growing interest in computer hardware and system architecture.

"Rather than chasing trends, I've always been driven by understanding the systems beneath the surface and the engineering decisions that make them work."

Outside of technology, you'll probably find me watching anime, playing games (mostly gacha games as F2P), reading manga or light novels, or diving into the world of audio by researching IEMs, DACs, and anything related to sound. I also enjoy tinkering with mechanical keyboards in pursuit of that perfect T H O C K. My desk is a chaotic mix of cables, audio gear, and anime figures, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

There's far more to my journey than what fits on a single page. Curious how a kid tinkering with computers became the engineer I am today?
